Maintenance Person

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who will be able to work both with or without supervision and attend to the upkeep of our Buildings and grounds to a high standard. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled quick thinker, a willing team member and able to adapt to changing priorities daily.

About the role:

• Working closely with the Maintenance Manager.

• Grounds keeping (Hedge and grass cutting, litter picking).

• General building maintenance (basic plumbing, painting, clearing guttering and decorating).

• Fire Safety system checks.

• Working at heights.

• Daily up keeping of any departmental tools, log and keep records of routine maintenance and any other duties the Company deems reasonable.

• Complete weekly/monthly site health and safety checks.

• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment.

• Any other ad-hoc duties as required.

About you:

You will be a quick thinker, a willing team member and able to adapt to changing priorities daily. Previous, relevant experience will be advantageous for applicants but is not necessary. You will be happy working in different environments which include indoor and outdoor work.

Skills required:

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.

• Happy with physical work, manual handling and outdoor work.

Hours: Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 17.30 / Friday 08:00 – 17:00
