Customer Service is at the heart of what we do, the Available Car shopping experience is built around the customer and as a Handover Manager you will play a crucial part in the process, ensuring your team provide customers with the very best experience and making the moment special for them with a seamless, hassle-free delivery. Available Car is a family-owned Used Car Supermarket with 4 branches across the Midlands and Yorkshire.

About the role:

  • Manage and mentor a Team of Handover Assistants
  • Actively contribute towards and build upon the AvailableCar ethos of delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Confidently, professionally, and proactively engage with customers in the showroom, ensuring a positive and memorable customer experience
  • Deal with complaints or quality issues
  • Chase Preparation / valet on the progress and timings of vehicles scheduled for handover
  • Drive performance through the sale of additional value-added products and services
  • Provide timely and accurate management reports as required
  • Build solid, long-term relationships with Departmental Managers across the business
  • Pro-actively manage the customer handover diary to maximise the number of vehicle collections each day to ensure that Available Car achieves the budgeted volume objective.

About you:

The ability to lead, mentor and motivate your team whilst driving customer satisfaction and financial performance. As a highly effective communicator you will be able to offer advice and guidance to your team and customer professionally present additional value-added product and services all whilst actively contributing towards the Available Car aims and values

Skills required:

  • Experience managing a team and motivating team members to hit targets
  • A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile and serving them with pride
  • Work well within a team and communicate effectively and openly with others
  • Full UK driving licence is essential to the role as you will be driving manual, automatic & electric vehicle.

Hours:  Monday 09.00 – 19.00, Tuesday to Friday 08.30 – 18.30

Pay: £28,000 per annum
