Citroen is a name which has been around since the early 1920’s. Andre Citroen the founder had a passion for building cars which were economical and well designed, so he set to work building the Citoen empire which today sells millions of cars and vans around the globe.
Citroen really represents motoring for the individual, their portfolio varies from the smaller Citroen C1, Citroen C2 and Citroen C3 then through to the larger Citroen C4 and Citroen C5 models and of course the spacious Citroen C8.
In 1920 Citroen won the Grand Prix for fuel economy at Le Mans, which really enabled their fame to spread quickly as people, particularly here in the UK, recognised that the Citroen name means ‘quality’.
