AvailableCar received great news this month, that WHAT CAR? Motoring Magazine had awarded them ‘Midlands Car Supermarket of 2006’. A mystery shopper visited the site, located only minutes away from junction's 23A, 24A and 24 of the M1, and unbeknown to all Team Members, they saw the world-class service first hand, that has made them such a reputable brand.
Judges from the magazine awarded a final grading of ‘five out of five’ and made excellent comments on why they thought the title was deserved. They said: “AvailableCar our Midlands winner, scored highly thanks to its wide selection of cars, friendly staff and no hassle approach.
“Customer friendly features include a detailed stock list with a complementary pencil to help buyers choose and find the models they are interested in. Sales staff talked through the features and benefits of each model and offer honest advice.
“We were impressed to be offered test-drives in both the cars we were considering, and we were given a reasonable amount of time to get a feel for the cars on the open road. All the information required to make a buying decision was provided without question and the strong part-exchange offer of £5,800 that we received for our Mondeo made the deal look attractive.
“When it came to finance we were quoted a low APR rate without any fuss or vague answers.”
The award isn't the first for the business, in-fact they now have a dedicated shelf in-store just for all the trophies they have won for their efforts. For the last three consecutive years they have been awarded UK Used Car Retailer of the year by Auto Motive Management, which is something unheard of in the motor industry.
Only recently they received the news that they have in-fact, been chosen as a AM Award finalist yet again for 2007, Paul Arscott, Operations Director said: “The awards we win mean a great deal to us, they prove that we work hard and trade fairly to the buying public but, most of all, they encourage our Team and show them how successful they are at what they do.
“We are all passionate about ‘being the best’ and we hope 2007 will be another milestone for the business.”
