The Rainbows Children's Hospice Appeal
Over the last few years, AvailableCar have been involved in various charity events and fundraising with great success. So in April 2009, they decided to adopt the Rainbows Children’s Hospice in Loughborough as their official charity of choice.
Being the main hospice for the Midlands area, AvailableCar hope customers and team members at both of their supermarket sites will help with their mission to raise thousands of pounds for the facility.
Although the hospice looks after children right across the Midlands, AvailableCar really hope to raise the Rainbows profile particularly in Derby, Mansfield and Yorkshire.
Paul Arscott, AvailableCar Director said: "Rainbows formed the perfect charity for AvailableCar to get involved with as the hospital helps young people and their families, in the same areas as our two supermarket sites. In order to grow the hospice further Rainbows need help in raising £1 million, which will go towards a brand new wing.”
Rainbows, is a purpose-built children's hospice, which opened its doors in 1994 to meet the needs of the children and young people from the East Midlands. All the patients who go to Rainbows are affected by life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
