Midland Car Supermarket Group AvailableCar has Most Successful Start to Year on Record!

We have just enjoyed our most successful first quarter trading in our seven year history. Well known across the region as the Midlands' largest car supermarket for nearly new and used cars, AvailableCar sold record-numbers of vehicles from January - March 2009 amounting to a 10% increase on 2008, even during a time many would describe as 'tough market conditions'.
Sales were not the only thing to improve, as our award-winning website AvailableCAR.COM had over 300,000 unique visitors from the end of December to the end of January, which was also a rise from the previous year.
The whole Team are now pulling together to ensure that this success continues.
Paul Arscott AvailableCar Operations Director said: "Despite the motor industry being 20% - 30% down generally since last year, AvailableCar has had its best-ever January on record, which is a tremendous start to 2009 and a real boost for the whole team.
"Over the coming months, we hope to continue to get our stock and prices right for our customers, because in the long-term, buying a nearly new or used car can ultimately save them thousands of pounds when compared to buying new."
In addition, despite the media-talk of lenders avoiding borrowing, we are finding that more people have been applying for their low-rate finance packages recently, and sales levels report a 30% increase compared to 2008.
Car Supermarket successful since 2002
Since opening the AvailableCar doors in 2002, we have experienced on-going success and have continued to grow. Now with a 190 strong-team and with a stock list of over 2,000 small, medium and large cars majority priced from £3,000 up to £15,000 we ensure we have one of the very best selections in the Midlands and in England.
Every vehicle is available to view with images and data on their up-to-date website AvailableCAR.COM, which was voted 2008 Car Supermarket 'website of the year' by AutoTrader Digital, the motor Industries number one car search website.
With our two sites, one based in Sutton-In-Ashfield and one in Castle Donington, we are hopeful that their sales will continue to do well as customers also continue to spend their money wisely.
Our team of buyers have noticed that prices are starting to rise again, due to the sudden increase in supply and demand, though they still have thousands of good deals.
Paul Arscott continues : "Understandably, people have been cautious over recent months, but now they can see many costs have come down like fuel for example, which means overall running costs are looking much brighter for potential car buyers.
Combine that with car prices being at their lowest in over a decade, customers are realising that now really is the best time to buy."
