Politicians told 'don't ignore car drivers'
The state of roads in the UK and the overall cost of motoring, top the list of issues that used car drivers want the next government to tackle, according to the RAC Foundation.
Issues such as the state of our roads after having had such a bad spout of weather this winter, plus fuel being at an all time high, has created burning issues in many voters minds for this election. Used car and nearly new car buyers want to see a plan of action to tackle these issues which don't seem to be improving.
A recent RAC survey revealed that 77% of car drivers regard potholes as a major problem in their area, while overall dissatisfaction with the road network is at its highest level for 10 years – with 52% saying they're not happy.
When it comes to the transport priorities for the next government, 58% of car drivers say it should be dealing with the condition of roads and pavements, with 46% looking for a new administration to curb the cost of motoring.
