Ever dreamt of swapping that used Ford for the famous Knight Rider car? Or perhaps having a day away from the used Volkswagen in favour of Magnums PI Ferrari? Well, in a survey of more than 2,000 people it was discovered that 18.4 per cent of UK adults would like to have KITT, the legendary black Pontiac from '80s TV series Knight Rider, parked in their garage.

The study, found that KITT was the small screen car that most UK adults would like to own, beating Inspector Morse’s used MkII Jaguar (16.1 per cent) and the Ferrari Testarossa from Miami Vice (8.2 per cent).

Other notable inclusions in the top ten included the Batmobile, which garnered 4.5 per cent of the vote, Gene Hunt's Audi Quattro from Ashes to Ashes followed close behind with 4.4 percent, while just 2.7 per cent would most like to own Lady Penelope's gadget-packed pink Rolls Royce from Thunderbirds.
