Be prepared for car breakdown
Many of us are very dependant on our cars, we drive to work, go to meetings and take the kids to school for example. For many of us, having a car is a lifesaver. So what would you do if the unthinkable happened and your car broke down? You could be in a rush to get somewhere, or even worse, you may be stuck alone in the middle of nowhere or on the hard shoulder of the motorway – not ideal.
Be prepared and get some kind of breakdown cover, it gives you the peace of mind you are always safe and avoids any vulnerable situations.
Today's market offers lots of great breakdown cover options, all are reliable and most importantly, value for money. There are hundreds to choose from like, RAC, AA, Greenflag and Churchhill to name just a few. As a retailer we would always recommend that you get breakdown with a recommended retailer and always check what is included in the policy before you get tied into it. You don’t want your car not starting at home one morning; only to then find your breakdown cover doesn’t have home starts included, for example.
There is no right or wrong way to choose breakdown cover, you simply need to think about the factors, which will influence the cover you need. One major decision is whether you want to insure the car or insure yourself as the driver, if you regularly drive other vehicles it may be worth considering insuring yourself, so that no matter what you are driving, you are always recovered.
