‘Treat Customers Fairly’ introduced by the FSA

Treating customers fairly (TCF)

Treating customers fairly (TCF) is one the FSA's biggest priorities for motor retailers and here at AvailableCar, we have been proud to follow their laws every step of the way since opening.

But to ensure that all retailers follow the guidelines, the FSA expected all the motor companies it regulates to have put ‘TCF’ into operation by March 2007. These requirements help you the consumer when buying any insurance product from a motor retailer.

The FSA explains, “TCF is about ensuring that customers are treated fairly throughout all the processes motor companies go through when selling insurance. The challenge for motor retailers is to take their good intention of customer satisfaction and get this to fit with the FSA's TCF principle.”

Here at AvailableCar we strive to deliver the best customer service levels we can, which is why we always welcome your comments. For further information on the TCF scheme visit: www.fsa.gov.uk/Pages/Doing/Regulated/tcf/index.shtml
